Seasonal Storage: Winter & Spring

Placing seasonal items in storage facilities offers an ideal way to declutter your home throughout the year. Climate controlled storage space is perfect for items you want to keep protected from extreme temperatures and/or humidity. Vehicle storage can help make more room in your garage or driveway. Our next series of articles will take a look at some of the seasonal items you may want to consider placing in your storage space.

Winter Storage

As the cool temperatures of fall usher in the cold temperatures of winter, you may want to consider swapping out some items in your climate controlled storage space.  The cooler weather means that grass will go dormant, so you probably won’t need your lawnmower, edger, or weed whacker until spring.  You may also consider decluttering your house by placing recreational items such as canoes and kayaks in your indoor storage space. And, you may even consider placing your motorhome in RV storage and boat/jet skis in vehicle storage for the winter.

Spring Storage

As the weather warms, you can begin packing up your bulky winter coats and other cold weather clothing and placing them in your climate controlled storage space.  Winter décor, space heaters and other cold weather related items can also be put in your indoor storage space until next season.

Our next article will provide you with ideas of items you may want to rent storage for during the summer and fall.
